The Biomolecular NMR Facility is in the Department of Biochemistry at the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University.
We are one of the six constituent core facilities of the London Regional Proteomics Centre, and are located in Room 309 of the Medical Sciences Building.
From 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM on every Friday, routine maintenance such as cryogen refilling, pulse calibration, testing of proton line shape and sensitivity will be conducted. Users are able to use the NMR spectrometers before 9:00 AM or after 2:00 PM on Friday.
Between 2:00 and 5:00 pm on Fridays the spectrometers are available for short experiments. Those with NMR time beginning on Friday can start as early as 2:00 only if no one is scheduled to use it between 2:00 and 5:00 pm.
On Helium fill days, expect the spectrometers to be ready for use after 5:00 pm.
